Recycled Fashion Show: Heroes for Habitats

Recycled Fashion Show: Heroes for Habitats

Saturday, April 11, 2026 (5:00 PM - 8:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Young At Art Museum proudly presents its 19th Annual Recycled Fashion Show: Heroes for Habitats—a powerful celebration of teen creativity, environmental stewardship, and community engagement. Through months of hands-on workshops, mentorship, and service-based learning, teen designers and models collaborate to create original, runway-ready garments crafted entirely from recycled and upcycled materials. Each design is inspired by an animal, ecosystem, or environmental challenge, reflecting thoughtful research, sustainable design practices, and a shared commitment to protecting our planet’s habitats.

Join us for an unforgettable evening on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 5:00–8:00 PM at the NSU Alvin Sherman Library, Cotilla Gallery (2nd Floor). Guests will enjoy a stunning and inspiring runway showlite refreshments, and an open bar, all while supporting a meaningful cause. This event is a fundraiser for Young At Art Museum, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and 100% of net proceeds will directly benefit YAA’s programming and community initiatives serving low-income children, families, and at-risk teen girls—empowering the next generation through art, education, and advocacy.
