Established as part of the Chamber’s Racial Equity Agenda, the Racial Equity Council is committed to advancing strategies that expand economic opportunity for minority entrepreneurs and underserved communities across Greater Fort Lauderdale.
This roundtable will convene leaders from the financial services sector to engage in a focused discussion on strengthening access to capital and technical assistance for underserved small businesses. The session will include:
- A briefing on recent survey findings from minority-owned small businesses in the region
- An overview of the emerging Florida CDFI Coalition and its role in the capital ecosystem
- A structured discussion on opportunities for financial institutions to deepen engagement and investment in underserved markets
