Fort Lauderdale Police Department - GUN SAFETY EVENT

Description

As part of our effort to reduce violent crime, accidental death/injury, and suicide, we are hosting an event with Apex Shooting Center called "Lock It Down Before It's Found." We aim to focus on informing our residents about the issue of unsecured firearms being stolen and misused, teach them how to properly store their firearms, and give out free gun locks to help them do so. 

We will also have "Stop the Bleed" training and an array of firearm safety products for purchase from Apex and their gun safe vendor.
